Roberta "Bobbie" Kay Scott

August 23, 1947 ~ September 20, 2017 (age 70)

The Piano Brothers

Roberta Kay Scott “Bobbie” passed away at home on September 20, 2017, just one week after being diagnosed with lung cancer.
Bobbie was born in Portland, Oregon to Adeline Mathews and Robert Pieln on August 23, 1947. She married Cliff Scott on June 18, 1993 in Milwaukie, Oregon. Bobbie loved being a mom, wife, grandma, aunt, great aunt, great-great aunt as well as a friend to many. Most of her working years were in banking. While she lived in the Newport area, she worked at Fred Meyer as well as Washington Mutual and Bank of the West. During her free time, besides spending every valuable minute with family, she loved to garden, go camping and fishing; but most of all, just loving, helping and caring for people was her ultimate passion.
Bobbie is survived by her husband Cliff Scott; son Mike Bales Jr. (Carla); daughter Debbie Bales (Roger Spangenberg); step-daughter Kristi Summers (Ryan); step-daughter Darci Elsele; step-daughter Marci Jackson (Jim Anderson); grandchildren: Wade Garrett Isley, Kerstin Moyer, Alex Moyer, Aurora Summers, Colton Summers, Sophie Elsele and Tony Jackson; nieces: Lori Hood, Dori Stearns and Cassi Westman; and one nephew, Don Wroth.
Before Bobbie passed, we celebrated her 70th birthday as her Celebration of Life. We are very grateful for being able to celebrate with her still at our side. At her request there will be no services. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Lincoln County Animal Shelter/Humane Society.
Arrangements are being entrusted to Bateman Funeral Home.
