Memorial Day Event

Published: May 30, 2022

On this Memorial Day, we would like to honor the sacrifice of all of those who passed in the service of their country. We most especially want to recognize those who are still missing and have not returned home.

On this Memorial Day, we would like to honor and recognize the sacrifice of all of those veterans who died in the service of their country.

In this video, Brian honors those who have passed in the service of our country. Brian reflects on how young his fellow brothers and sisters in arms were as he served in the U.S. Army and how the cost of freedom is carried by the youth of the nation. He reflects on what it means when a service member receives a purple heart, bronze star, silver star and a medal of honor. The message he hopes that you take away from this is summarized in the following quote from President Ronald Reagan "We remember those who were called upon to give all a person can give, and we remember those who were prepared to make that sacrifice if it were demanded of them in the line of duty, though it never was. Most of all, we remember the devotion and gallantry with which all of them ennobled their nation as they became champions of a noble cause." Ronald Reagan
