Harry Robert Clark, age 79, died peacefully at his home in Siletz, Oregon on February 8, 2020 after suffering complications from bile duct cancer.
Harry was born on September 15, 1940 in Vancouver, Canada to Walter & Grace Clark. In 1948 his family moved to the United States and in 1960 he joined the US Army serving his county in Germany. Harry retired from many years of working in the hospitality industry and spent a lot of time traveling with his wife Joan (Jo). Harry was happily married to Joan Clark who was his partner in life for almost 39 years at the time his death.
Harry is survived by his wife Joan, and 5 children, Barbara Clark-Parks, Robert Clark, Tim Jackson, Jodie Baxter-Jones & Billy Lamere. Besides spending time with his family and friends, Harry enjoyed traveling, gardening, hunting, fishing and was known for his ability to make people laugh (not his wine making skills, much to his dismay). He was a wonderful, loving, kind man that is missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
Family and friends are invited to attend a celebration of life gathering on Saturday, February 29 anytime between 1:30 - 4:30 at the Clark family home in Siletz. The family requests that in lieu of flowers any donations be made to bile duct cancer research at www.cholangiocarcinoma.org
