Loren Dean Todd Sr., 85, of Toledo, Oregon died Monday, June 15th, 2020 at home. Loren was born to the late Lonzo Sr. And Leona (Benski) Todd, on July 6th, 1934 in Oregon City, Oregon. Loren was the middle child of 6, and was preceded in death by all his siblings; Richard, Jeanne, Lonzo Jr., David, and Joe. Loren graduated High School from Oregon City High School. He married Sandra (Woolcott) Todd on December 17th, 1960.
After High School, Loren joined the National Guard and later enlisted with the Army where he served his country for two years. After serving in the Army he settled into Toledo, where he put down roots raising 3 of his 5 children, Kellie (Todd) St.Clair (deceased), Loren Dean Todd Jr. (deceased), and Karen (Todd) Polley. He continued working at the GP mill for 32 years before he retired. Kathy (Todd) Sinsel, Loren's oldest would stay with him and his family in Toledo growing up. Later in life he reconnected with his daughter Maggie Christeson and grew a relationship with her.
Loren is survived by Sandra (Woolcott) Todd, his wife of 59 years and his three daughters; Kathy Sinsel and husband Brian Sinsel; Maggie Christensen; Karen Polley and husband Chuck Polley. He also has 11 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren as well as many nieces, nephews and close friends. Loren loved all things outdoorsy including fishing, hunting, golfing, clam digging and spending time with his large family. He was always one to stand strong with what he believed in, quick witted, a jokester and full of more love that he shared with the world. He will be greatly missed.
