Sharon Kay Burchett
October 20th, 1946 - February 24th, 2023
Sharon (Lowery) Burchett, 76 of Newport, passed away February 24th, 2023 with her family by her side.
She was born October 20th, 1946 in Boydsville, Arkansas to Jessie and Mary Lowery. Sharon married Edward “Mike” Burchett on November 4th, 1967 and together they had three daughters. She was a dedicated mother and family meant everything to her. She loved being a grandmother to her six grandchildren. Spending time with family and friends, she saw the best in everyone. Sharon had the best sense of humor and loved to garden in her free time.
Sharon worked at Newport Shrimp during the ‘80s, and was a supervisor for many years until her retirement in the 2000’s.
She was preceded in death by her husband Edward “Mike” Burchett, her parents Jessie and Mary Lowery and her brother Danny Lowery. She is survived by her three daughters, Lisa Burchett, Michelle Burchett (Rios), and Nicole Burchett all of Newport, OR. Her six grandchildren Trenton, Logan, Kaylee, Jaylyn, Neven, and Taylor. Her sisters Peggy (Armando) Ceballos of Toledo, OR. Donna (Willie) Chrisman of Dallas, OR. Carol Navolynski of Scappoose, OR. Along with several nieces and nephews.
At Sharon’s request, there will be no memorial services.
