76 of Newport, Oregon. Yvonne Gibbs, A loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Born Yvonne Marie Thomas of Concord CA. Yvonne married early in life, at age 22 she gave birth to her beautiful boy Nicholas. Shortly after the family moved to Montana, and spent Nicholas’ early years of childhood in the country. After living a life in Montana, she endured the big city of Portland finding the love of her life Ronald Gibbs; they married May of 1983 when they blended families with Ronald’s son Mark.
Yvonne lived a life full of adventure. She worked as a loan officer in Portland, later retiring with Ronald in Newport where they have been for the last twenty years enjoying the coastal life.
Other than her family and friends her greatest joys were her animals, plants, dancing, camping, fishing, riding bikes, boating, cars, beach walks, motorcycles, reading, playing cards, and most of all visiting.
Survived by Husband Ronald Gibbs Newport OR, Sons; Nicholas Venturini (Tina) Kalispell MT, Mark Gibbs (Shannon) Portland OR, Grandchildren; Matthew Venturini (Kayla, Great-Grandchildren Kinley, Brantley) Tabitha Venturini, Mario Venturini (Jessica, Great-Grandchild Isabella), all of Kalispell MT, Mallare Venturini (Great-Grandchild Tristan) San Diego CA, Ruby Gibbs, Portland OR
In the end Cancer won the battle, as she was resting peacefully in her Newport home with her loving husband and granddaughter by her side.
