My father passed away Friday night unexpectedly. To make matters worse, we had a viewing set up today and we were going to make arrangements...but we got a call from Bateman funeral home that they had mixed up my dad's body with someone else who was supposed to be cremated, and my dad's remains were in the process of being cremated at that moment. No viewing, no arrangements, no choices...nothing. To say I'm livid is an understatement. How could that even happen!?? It is SO wrong. That is a mistake that should never be made. Bateman funeral home took the responsibility to make sure my families remains were safe, treated with dignity, and processed the way they should be. they did not do that by any means.

Nick went above and beyond when picking up my mother, who'd passed after being on hospice. He took all my calls, and was incredibly kind and sensitive. It was a comfort knowing she was being taken care of in a respectful and gentle manner.

Bateman funeral home handled my dad's funeral in 1976. I've had some unanswered questions and the staff helped me answer them. They searched for information and answers. I have worked with Bateman's on 3 separate occasions. Twice for my parents and once here a week ago with my friend who lost her husband. I have nothing but praise for them. Brian is wonderful, and the young lady who helped my friend, was as well. They made the situation a better one for all of us

Unfortunately this is the 4th time I’ve used Batemans. In those four times they have been very upfront and helpful. People need to prepare for the end, none of us are getting out alive! Death really is about the living.
